LIFE CYCLE RITUALS

Price: on estimate according to your needs

The importance of rituals in the construction of identity, as providing the cultural context essential to the meaningful existence of individuals, is now widely demonstrated by our contemporary psychologists and anthropologists. The rite and the rituals constitute the cement of the human groups; they provide the framework which will make it possible to mark in a stable way the important passages of life with their entry and their exit. They will show the roots of the group and the belonging of each to its roots.

Rituals tend to be devalued these days. We don't care, or we see their formal and restrictive side, and we evacuate them. Certainly, they can become enclosing if they are rigidified and obligatory when, in fact, they have lost their soul. They constantly need to be revitalized, updated.

The function of the ritual is to provide benchmarks in space and time, it is a structuring element of life, it gives rhythm to the seasons, the ages of life, it gives depth and importance to the different pivotal moments in our lives: births, weddings, funerals, parties, birthdays, graduations, etc.

It is in this sense that the ritual cannot be reduced to simple social conventions: it makes us human, bearers of dignity, pride and consideration for ourselves and others, by offering us the framework to exist with others in a meaningful way.

This is why I propose to accompany you in the organization, to lead the celebration, and to allow you to highlight these memorable moments by making them unforgettable.

Examples of celebrations:

  • Inter-spiritual celebrations

  • Wedding Officiant / Symbolic Secular Union

  • renewal of vows

  • Becoming a Family: Child Welcoming Ceremonies

  • Transition to adolescence, transition to adulthood

  • Moving/moving in: Ceremonies for housing

How much does it cost ?
It is very difficult to evaluate the price in advance of the organization of the ritual, since it depends on a lot of factors (duration, place, complex interventions...).

But to give an idea:

- Organization of a birth ritual: approximately $400*

- Wedding officiant service: approximately $500*
- Funeral celebrant service: approximately $300*
