PACKAGES

All the packages presented here are based on my agency's Motherwit Doula Care, and include the following:

1) Have the assurance of having a doula present on the day of your delivery whatever happens. Working as a team allows me to have a back-up in the event of a problem. In addition, if the back up doula were to be called, you can be sure that they will have the same quality of services, and the same openness/approach.

2) We offer Naturopathic insurance receipts, which makes it possible to significantly reduce the price of the support service. Please note that you are responsible to contact your insurance company to confirm they cover Naturopathy services and the ACNN.

3) Our team at Motherwit Doula Care has been supporting birthing people for nearly 30 years in all hospitals, birth centers and homes in the Montreal area. Therefore, medical teams know us well and know our level of professionalism, which facilitates communication.

 

Of course, there are as many needs as there are childbearing people, which is why, although these are proposals for pre-established packages, creating tailor-made packages according to your personal needs is entirely possible. Do not hesitate to let me know your needs so that I can offer you a tailor-made quote.

INCLUSIONS

All packages include the following services:

  • a free, no-obligation consultation

  • email and SMS assistance, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday to Friday as soon as your contract is signed

  • unlimited 24/7 support by phone, SMS or email, from 37 to 42 weeks of pregnancy

  • An antenatal home visit to discuss birth preparation and preferences

  • Physical, emotional and logistical support during labor and delivery:

  • Suggested positions during labor, delivery, and for recovery

  • Use of accessories

  • Massages, heat / cool and other physical comforts

  • Guided breathing, inspirational readings or meditation

  • Maintaining your inspiring and soothing birthing space

  • Accompaniment of the birth partner(s) with techniques and tips

  • Travel assistance in the recovery room or postpartum unit

  • Immediate postpartum support from 1h30 to 3 hours after childbirth, breastfeeding aid or bottle, and   hygienic comfort measures

  • Postpartum home visits to review your birthing experience and check on your well-being (depending on package chosen)

  • Unlimited 24/7 support by phone, text or email, for 2 weeks postpartum

  • Email and SMS support, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday, up to 6 weeks after delivery

EXTRA CHARGES
 

Prenatal / Postnatal Consultations:

- If you live in the Montreal metro area (walking distante to a subway station), we can do the consultations at your home

- If you live outside this area, here are the options available:

  • Meet at my workspace (near Sherbrooke metro)

  • Go to a café you like or feel comfortable discussing (accessible by metro)

  • Meet via zoom

Childbirth travel expenses
No additional cost: CHUM, St-Mary's, Jewish, HMR, Glen, Jeanne-Mance birthing center, Côte des Neiges birthing center, Marie-Paul Lanthier birthing center
 

Round-trip taxi fees (upon receipt) : Cité de la Santé, Charles-Le Moyne, LaSalle, Sacred Heart, Pointe-Claire birthing center, Pierre-Boucher, Lakeshore, Pierre-Le Gardeur, MDN Ana-Laberge, Anne Courtemanche, Repentigny birthing center.

Naturopathy Receipts

I must inform you that I cannot guarantee the reimbursement by insurance companies, as your insurance policy may contain certain restrictions or exclusions. It is therefore your responsibility to contact your insurance company beforehand to inquire about the reimbursement terms for Naturopathy with ACNN.
