BIRTH RITUALS

$300

*includes : organisation, officiating, gear and some photos*

The Birth Ritual is an intimate ceremony that celebrates the pregnant person by giving meaning to pregnancy and the act of giving birth.

Surrounded by people dear to their hearts, the future parents find themselves for a few hours in a bubble of intimacy where each of the participants offers them attention and kindness to celebrate their pregnancy and future childbirth with tenderness.

EVENT ORGANIZATION

The Birth Ritual is a ceremony full of warmth and sharing that takes place during the last trimester of the parents' pregnancy.

The ceremony lasts about 3 hours and takes place in setting of your choosing. Depending on the number of participants and the wishes of the pregnant person, the Blessing can be organized at home, with a trusted person, in the middle of nature, in a privatized tea room... The main thing is to be able to create an intimate atmosphere that favours simplicity, authenticity and confidences.

The number of guests is generally between 3 and 10 people so that the ceremony retains its sacred and intimate character.

I am present as a doula throughout the duration of the Blessing. With discretion and kindness, my role is to animate the ceremony, to ensure the smooth running of the various activities and the well-being of everyone.

Remote preparation (without my presence on D-Day) remains possible, however. In this case, I provide a participant, designated as "referent", a roadmap presenting the course of the half day.

In any case (with or without my presence on D-Day), I will need to discuss with the participants at least one month before the Blessing in order to organize a tailor-made ceremony and according to the expectations of the parents.

THE DAY OF THE EVENT

The ceremony can be intimate, funny, festive or relaxing all at the same time. If the celebrated person does not take care of the organization, it is important that they choose the content of this day which will be dedicated to them in order to be comfortable and in agreement with the various activities proposed.

The Ritual is organized into three parts:

  • the opening of the ceremony which focuses on the person being celebrated.

  • the very essence of the ceremony with the unfolding of the various activities which connects the people present with each other, with and around the parents.

  • the closing of the ceremony which brings together the energies of the different participants to make this moment a strong and sacred memory.

According to the desires of the parents, participants will be able to do:

  • Thread Ceremony

  • candle ceremony

  • Wishes

  • birth blanket

  • sacred massages

  • creative headdresses

  • Crown of flowers

  • Cocooning the birthing person

  • draw on their stomach or paint a body tattoo

  • make a cast of their belly with plaster

  • make a birthing necklace

  • sing, dance, meditate, make wishes...

  • but also eat, drink tea, share stories...
